Mylon & Broken Heart

Mylon & Broken Heart were an '80's Christian Rock band who had some critical and commercial success. They were fronted by the famous Mylon LeFevre who had been around for decades in gospel music.

His work with Broken Heart was really the only stuff I got into of his. It was very '80's sounding all the way down to the use of a digital drum kit.
However you can't deny the catchy nature of the songs and the clean message of the lyrics. Mylon's voice is also very unique.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this selection from 4 of their albums (I have selected some of the more rockin' songs), Crack the Sky (1987) which won a Grammy, Face the Music (1988), Big World (1989), and Crank It Up (1990).
